Faculty Achievements in Sports

Our former School teacher and alumnus C.Swaminathan was selected for Tamil Nadu State Football Team in 1971 & 1972 and emerged as a winner in the Santhosh Trophy Finals in Goa.

M.Surendaran former PGT (Commerce) served as a coach in the Tamil Nadu State level Basketball team for several years, Junior Indian Women team coach in the year 2000.

Our present Secretary, P.Narayanaswamy set a new State record in 800 Mts in 1971 in his school days.

K.Kuppuswamy, a Former Physical Education Teacher won the 100 Mts at the Veteran National Athletic Meet and won the Third Prize in the 4×100 Mts Relay 1990-1991. In the year 2000-2001 won the Gold medal in 4×100 Mts relay in the 11th Asian level Athletics Championship.

P.Jayachandran Physical Director Served as a National Referee for Basketball Tournament. He serves as Judge in Athletics in State Meet. He served as a coach for the Tamil Nadu State Basketball Boys & Girls Team.
