Starting from Standard VI, the Secondary School programme is scheduled for a 5-years term leading to the Secondary School Leaving Certificate of the State Board of Tamilnadu on completion of Standard X. The students are assessed for promotion annually.
This programme is also offered in English as the medium of instruction with Tamil as second language since 26.06.1992. The students are assessed on a continuous evaluatory system and the subjects of study are Mathematics, Science, Social Science & Moral Instruction besides English and Tamil languages.
Starting from Standard VI to Standard X admission to the programme is strictly on MERIT and as per Instructions of the Department of Education.
