CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Curricular activities play an essential role in enhancing learning process of students at school.

CLASS ROOM

A good class room environment always has some elements of creativity which makes the lessons more interesting and interactive. It enables the students to engage with and develop the skills, knowledge and understanding in different ways.

EXAMINATION

Examinations help in assessing the strength and weakness of the students. It aids in self analysis of the students to a greater extent.

LIBRARY

Students involved in reading books, which helps them sharpen their communication skills.

LABORATORY

Team leadership skills are improved when students participate in lab activities.


COMPUTER STUDIES

A new dimension of Technical Education has been introduced from an ISO 9000-2008 certified reputed company named an “TECHNO SCHOOL” in our school, where student can easily learn principles and fundamentals’ of basic computer education with following methodology teaching, learning, verifying and assessing with the hands on training and various teaching strategies.

SPORTS

Sports activities are beneficial in improving the physical fitness as well as the mental health of the students.


PHASE – activities

Our School has implemented ‘PHASE – Physical Health And Sports Education’ programme partnering with the PHASE Sports Team. A leading sports organisation established by former International sportsperson and alumnus of PSG Institution Mr. Sabari Karthik. Under this programme, students are given regular training in Physical fitness, Health awareness, Life skills and Sports skills. The prime focus is to improve their Physical Literacy, Sports Skills, and Fitness parameters through the most fun-filled activities. Along with this, underprivileged students of Maanavar illam are trained in Silambam (Tamil traditional art) free of cost as the ‘Right to Sport’ Initiative by the Foundation. We see all the children happily participating in the programme and improving their fitness and skills.
